Reliable Robotics
Mechanical Engineer Responsible for design of mechanical systems onboard the modified Textron C208B Grand Caravan which involved aircraft systems/structure interaction and modifications. Tasks included gathering systems requirements, sizing, FEM (coarse and refined), static & fatigue substantiation, vibration analysis, drawing release, assembly work instructions, finding vendors, and installation/maintenance support. Bombardier Aerospace
I work as a stress engineer in the In-Service Engineering group for the CRJ family of aircraft (CRJ200-700-900-1000). I interact with Design Approval Delegates in the process of maintaining the structural integrity of the aircraft fleet, both for static and damage tolerant/fatigue considerations. My previous position was in the Production Development group of the CRJ, in which I was updating and improving the Airworthiness Limitations of the Principle Structural Elements of the aircraft (which are published in the Maintenance Requirements Manual). My AWL work encompassed most areas of the plane notably Wing, Fuselage, Main Landing Gear Trunnion, Spoilers, etc. I was privileged to calibrate and work on the full scale DADT tests in order to better validate crack growth models. |
L-3 MAS Aerostructures
As a stress engineer, I worked on the A320 NEO experimental pylon project. For the first block of the project, I worked on the primary structure such as aft engine mount connection and main aft fittings to the B747 SP. Because of the experience in my turbomachinery internships, I also worked on the stress design of the pneumatic system and adjoining fuel, hydraulic, and fire extinguishing lines. I am tasked as well on acoustic stress analysis and thermal stress on the jet deflecting structures, two really interesting topics.

Rolls-Royce Energy
I worked as a performance and liaison intern at the Rolls-Royce Energy business in Montreal, Canada. I built a software called Trent_PAP which accessed Trent 60 WLE and DLE steady state performance with respect to Rolls-Royce standards. I also built a program, for the Trent 60, which acquired and calculated engine on-site data for performance tracking and accident investigation. In liaison engineering, I helped identify corrosion problems and solutions on the RB211 as well as complete standard engineering repair requirements.
